We are a group of volunteers promoting the improvement of Maesteg Welfare Park in the Llynfi Valley. We run a Community Garden and Orchard, and events throughout the year.

‘I’m raising £500 to Maintain and enhance our outdoor learning area ‘Mas ar y Maes’ in Maesteg Welfare Park’ – Lynne Harris Friends of Maesteg Welfare Park
After the expense of setting up the outdoor learning area ‘Mas ar y Maes’ and opening it to all free of charge, we as the Friends of Maesteg Welfare Park badly need to replenish our funds so we can continue to replace consumables, maintain the structures and insure the area, as is mandatory, in order to enhance the child’s experience. As a voluntary group, we have never collected an annual membership fee and rely solely on kind donations to sustain our work in the park in general and in ‘Mas ar y Maes’ in particular .
